How to Use

Create A New Blank Zip Files

Using Zip Files Opener you can easily create a new blank zip file. First, you can create a new blank zip file by clicking the new zip button on the main program. Then add a name and you must add/insert some files into your zip file. You can also create a new blank zip by using the context menu on the windows explorer (by right clicking your windows explorer) and drag/drop any files you want into this new blank zip.

Open Zip Files
If there are no others zip/compressor program installed, Zip Files Opener is automatically set as your default zip program. So you can open zip files only by double clicking the files on the windows explorer. Or you can open zip file by clicking the open zip button on the main program.

Insert or Add Files

1. You can insert/add files to zip archive by clicking the add to zip button on the main program. But you must first open your zip file before using this method.
2. You can insert/add file to zip archive by draging or droping files on the windows explorer.
3. You can insert/add file to zip by right clicking it and select add.

Extract Files

You can extract all or selected files into your directories with overwriting option by clicking the extract zip button on the main menu. You can also select “Extract Here” or “Extract To” on the context menu of your windows explorer. Here is the option detail. Use "Extract Here" to extract file to the current path of file. Use "Extract To.." to extract file to your selected directories.

View Files and Compressed File Properties

Compressed file properties was shown in the list file view. To view files on the current opened zip files just double click the selected items/files. Or you can use the popupmenu by right clicking selected item.

Delete Files and Delete Zip Files Opener

You only have to select any file you want to delete and then click delete button. Click delete to delete the current zip files and all the content. This action cannot be undone.

Make Zip Files Opener as Your Default ZIP program

If there were no others zip/compressor program installed, Zip Files Opener is automatically set to a default zip program on your windows. If other programs already installed, you can make Zip Files Opener to be default program by following these steps.

1. Right click the zip file on the windows explorer to show context menu explorer.
2. Select “Open With..” and click “Choose Program” then select Zip Files Opener program. Click “Browse” if Zip Files Opener was not listed.
3. Checklist the option “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file” and click OK button.

Split Zip Files Opener and Combine Splitted Files

You can split a big size file into smaller splitted files. You can configure the split size (x MB) by clicking the configure option on the main program. The splitted file cannot be opened before you combine all splitted files using Zip Files Opener combiner wizard. To combine splitted files please follow this steps.

1. Place all of the splitted files into same directories.
2. Open the main program of Zip Files Opener.
3. Select and click the combiner button.
4. Click Insert File button and select all the splitted file on the directories.
5. Click Combine button then you was successfully combine all of the splitted files.
6. You also can combine splitted file by right clicking the splitted file on the windows explorer. The message from combiner wizard will help you combining splitted file.
